Intermediate examinations going on smoothly from Wednesday . The number of 22,199 students appeared for the Intermediate first year II language paper in the general stream. On the first day of the Intermediate Public Examinations-2016, which commenced in as many as 88 examination centers all over the district on Wednesday 02 / 03 /2016.

In the vocational stream of Intermediate examinations going on smoothly from Wednesday, as many as 2,732 students took the II language paper across the district. Total number of 1,440 students in the general stream and 604 students in the vocational stream were absent. As for the report no malpractice case was reported

In some of the examination centers, the students were compelled to write the examination in congested rooms, devoid of proper furniture, student are more confident and active in their examinations and no absent is found during the examinations. Some of the students are dis pointed with the disturbance of the vehicles and other traveling sounds.

The parents of some of the Intermediate first year students expressed concern over the loud noise emanating from the high-decibel speakers mounted on vehicles engaged in the ongoing campaign for the ensuing civic body election in the town. However, the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) officials concerned said they had not received any specific complaints in this regard.

The Intermediate examinations commenced peacefully on Wednesday. According to Regional Inspection Officer (RIO), Board of Intermediate Education, a total of 30,704 candidates appeared for examinations on the first day, out of which 27,324 were general and 3,380 were vocational students. No case of malpractice was booked on the first day and the examination was held smoothly. First year intermediate examinations and they need to wait for the results very soon.
